Car and Driver Magazine US App Reviews

New version features tiny text. Zoom in and the text is blurry. Zero effort required for them to send at a proper resolution, totally unacceptable.

Unfortunately this app can only be described as a sin against the excellent content and writing in the magazine. Someone without the knowledge of digital media decided the paper magazine was perfect and all they needed to do was make a "digital" copy of the magazine. If Im going to pay for a digital subscription in addition to my regualr subscription then I expect to be able to highlight a word and get a definition or hyperlink to additional content. No such luck this is nothing more then a pixel by pixel recreation of the magazine. A complete waste of time unless you just dont want a paper copy.

I tried to cancel my membership but was given the runaround and charged $22 anyway. To add insult to injury, the text is barely readable. Avoid this magazine at all costs. Same crap you have to deal with R&T.

App does nothing on iOS 10 except the logo and two non functional buttons

I cant read the articles anymore. I can only see the first page and thats it. Scrolling no longer works. The last version worked just fine, but this one is totally broken. Did any one bother to test this before submitting it?

Lots of facts but badly illustrated, Especially for an smartphone. Can not flip pages.

Ive been a Car and Driver subscriber for over 30 years and this summer decided to purchase the ap so I could have access to the online info & and articles as well. The navigation isnt logical and after just the 2nd month Im not able to access anything because it says my purchase has expired! Even before the "expiration" I had to "restore" my purchase several times because it wouldnt properly load. Complete waste of money and very frustrating. And, fyi, I gave the ap a 2 rating only because I couldnt bring myself to completely flunk my beloved C&D - it should actually be rated a 1...

I see liberalism has now infiltrated car magazines. Great.

After writing several reviews of disappointment, its obvious no one is listening or cares. Get your money back as soon as you can. In America we have a saying "You cant fix stupid".

I just signed up for a digital Car & Driver subscription. What a disappointment! For double the print cost, you give customers broken issues. Dont you even test these before release?? Why cant you spend 15 minutes having a few people in the office open the issue on their iPads and be sure all the articles work before sending an issue to the app store? Tried iPad 4 and iPad Air, both running iOs 8.1.2, results were the same on both iPads: Car & Driver January 2015 issue has 2 broken articles! 1. The Gathering: 10 Best Cars Only 1 page is available, the first page. Bottom of screen says "scroll content" and has a downward pointing arrow. IT WILL NOT GO PAST FIRST PAGE! 2. 01.2015 Feature: Winners & Losers Only 1 page is available, the first page. Bottom of screen says "scroll content" and has a downward pointing arrow. IT WILL NOT GO PAST FIRST PAGE! For this the customer is supposed to pay double the print cost!

Navigation is Neanderthal. Once in its an absurd challenge to get out. There should be a no star option.

I really like November and December magazines so if you can keep it up it would be appreciated!

$20 a year to read fuzzy text on my beautiful iPhone 6 + display??? I am going to pass...

Its the best and most intriguing car magazine Ive ever read!!! I could read it for hours!!!

Near as I can tell this app is essentially a tool for downloading PDF style files. Extremely basic stuff. Even double-tapping a text column fails to zoom in properly. A C- effort.

I am unable to download the March issue. Every time I try, the app crashes. Then the app keeps crashing every time I try to launch it. Only thing I can do is delete and reinstall the app. This is very disappointing.

Very unfriendly as one cannot reliably read through a multi page article without returning to "page viewer" and finding article again

The app wont even open. It crashes continuously even after uninstalling and reinstalling. Epic fail. Unfortunately I cant rate this a zero star because thats what it deserves.

Downloads are unacceptably slow, and often they freeze up and never complete. 3 AM in the morning seems to work best, which says they have not dedicated powerful enough servers to the mission.

I go to click on the app to open it and it wont even open!!!
